<english>We plead, God! We have gone astray like roaming sheep. Do not blot our names1 from Your book of life. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! Watch over the Jewish Nation, the people who are like a flock of sheep readied for slaughter, a people harassed by other nations and slain for You. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! We are Your flock, the sheep of Your pasture. We are the fruit of Your work; we are Your beloved. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! Respond to the petitions of Your afflicted flock in a season of favor. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! the Jewish Nation raise their gaze toward You. May those who rise in battle against them come to naught. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! Let those who poured the water offering upon the altar at Sukkot draw water at this hour from the fountains of Your salvation. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! Let our saviors—our Jewish leaders—ascend to Zion (Jerusalem) with the final Redemption. The Jewish Nation cleave to You and they will be delivered by Your name. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! Array Yourself in garments stained with blood from executing vengeance upon our foes; cast off all wicked people in wrath. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! Recall and hold in mind the Jewish Nation, the people You acquired with abundant measures of love. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! Hear from heaven the prayers of those who seek You, bearing the willow twigs. We plead, God, deliver us and aid us now. We plead, God! Crown the year with splendor; receive my words of prayer on this Hoshana Rabbah day.
