<english>of the earth shall say, The Lord has ever been King of the universe. The sea and all within it shall roar in joy; the fields and all within them shall rejoice. Then the world's joy will be so vast that even the woodland trees shall chant before the Lord as He arrives to judge those upon earth1 and render them what they deserve. Offer praise to the Lord for He is good, for His kindness endures forever. Speak to God, "Rescue us, God of our salvation. Assemble us and deliver us from the foreign nations, so that we may render thanks unto Your holy name and be made glorious through praising You." In praising You, we grow glorious, for other nations behold that we are Your nation. We ought to praise God by declaring, "The Lord, God of the Children of Israel, stands blessed forever, from this world unto the next world." All the people answered, "Amen," showing that they concur with all that was just spoken, and they lauded the Lord. <english>God is merciful and pardons our transgressions; He does not destroy us on their account. Often He turns His wrath aside from us, and He does not arouse all of His anger. May You, Lord, not keep back Your mercy from me. Let Your kindness and Your faithfulness ever guard me. Lord, recall Your compassion and Your deeds of lovingkindness, for they have ever been done—You've ever acted in mercy and kindness. Peoples of the earth, offer praise to God on account of His might. God's pride abides upon the Children of Israel, and His power is displayed in the skies. That God governs the stations of the stars and the courses of the planets in the heavens reveals to us how mighty He is. God, You are feared for the mighty wonders that You work in Your Holy Temple. It is the God of the Children of Israel Who grants might and power to His people. God ought to be blessed for all these things. The Lord is a God of vengeance. God of vengeance, reveal Yourself. God, Judge of the earth, arise and disclose Your glory to the world. Render the haughty nations their due. The power of salvation rests with the Lord. God, may Your blessing rest upon Your people forever. The Lord, the God of all creations, remains always with us. The God of Jacob is our fortress; He will grant us strength forever. Happy is the one who trusts in You, Lord, God of all creations. Rescue us, Lord. <text>1 Rather than being a source of fear or concern, God's judgment in the era of the Redemption will be a source of joy. Just as a king who wishes to renovate his palace must first remove all the dirt and waste from within it, so must God use His judgment to remove all spiritual "dirt" and negativity from the world. This will prepare the world for a new revelation of Godliness, which will bring great joy to all creations.</text>

<text>2 The Talmud tells us that angels, too, exalt God in the heavens each day by praising Him. However, they are not permitted to begin their praises until the Jews on earth below have done so. This is hinted by the repeated expression "exalt." The first verse, "Exalt... and bow to His footstool," refers to the praise of the Jewish Nation on earth below; the second verse, "Exalt... and bow to His holy mountain" refers to the praise of the lofty angels.</text>
