<english>Our God and the God of our fathers; compassionate King, show us mercy. God, Who is good and does good, make Yourself near to us and hear our prayers. On account of our fathers who fulfilled Your will, incline toward us with Your abundant mercy. Rebuild Your house as it once stood; set Your Holy Temple upon its site. Let us behold its rebuilding and gladden us through its completion. Restore the Kohanim to their priestly duty, the Levites to chant and music, and bring the Israelites back to their homes. We shall ascend there, to the restored Temple, and we shall come into Your presence and prostrate ourselves to You on the festivals, as recorded in Your Torah: God addresses the Jewish Nation: Three times yearly, every male among you shall appear before the Lord, your God,1 in the site that He selects—on</english>
