<text>Should you have said מוֹרִיד הַטָּל in winter, you need not go back and correct the error. Should you have said מַשִּׁיב הָרוּחַ וּמוֹרִיד הַגָּשֶׁם in summer and noticed the mistake before finishing the blessing, go back to the blessing's start. Should you have noticed the mistake after uttering God's name at the blessing's close, start the Amidah again.2</text>

<english>God graciously supplies all living creatures with their needs, even when they are unworthy, restores the dead to life in abundant mercy, upholds those who fall, heals the sick, releases the imprisoned, and fulfills the promise given to the Patriarchs—who have died and lie buried in the dust of the earth—to guard their children. God, who is like You; who is so mighty and strong? And who may be likened to You, God, our King, Who causes people to die and restores the dead to life, and Who makes His salvation flourish like a sheltering tree for the Jewish Nation? You are trustworthy, and we know with certainty that You will restore the dead to life. Blessed are You, Lord, Who restores the dead to life.</english>

<text>1 Each of the Patriarchs served God in a different way: Abraham with kindness, Isaac with awe, and Jacob with a blend of both—each revealing a unique aspect of Godliness in the world. We therefore mention the Godly revelation (אַלְקוּ) of each of the Patriarchs separately.</text>

<text>2 The Sages teach us that rain during the summer in the Land of Israel is a bad sign and at certain times it can have a negative effect on the earth. Therefore, if a person mistakenly mentions rain in the Amidah during the summer months, it must be corrected. Dew, however, gives life and blessing to the world throughout the year. For this reason, if a person mentioned dew during the winter months, it does not need to be corrected.</text>
