"text": "1 The peace-offering is so called because it brought peace to the world. In particular, it made peace between the mundane and the holy. Whereas the consumption of other offerings was restricted due to their holiness (they could only be eaten by Kohanim in the Temple), the peace-offering was allowed to be eaten anywhere in the city, by anyone. This is because the holiness of the peace-offering was able to \"make peace\" with the mundane—in this case, the physical act of eating by regular people at home.",
