<english>be tzitzit for you. Tzitzit are donned as a reminder, and when you will look at these tzitzit, you will recall every commandment of the Lord. For the Hebrew word Tzitzit has a numerical value of 600. The 8 threads and the 5 knots, present on every corner, add to 613—the Torah's tally of commandments. Recalling the commandments will lead you to fulfill them. Then you will not wander after the cravings of your hearts and the lures your eyes see.1 Pursuing your desires leads you to stray from the path of Torah. Look at the tzitzit, so that you will remember and fulfill all of My commandments. By this, you shall be holy unto your God. I am the Lord, your God, Who brought you forth from Egypt's land so as to be a God for you,2 and that you should take Me as your God through observing My commandments. I am the Lord, your God.</english>

<english>God, You have always been our fathers' help, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You have always been a shield that guards them, and You have been a savior to them and to their children who followed after them, in every generation. Though Your dwelling is in the loftiest heights of the universe, Your judgments and Your righteousness extend to the farthest ends of the earth.</english>

<text>1 The verse tells us to be careful about where we look. A person who looks at inappropriate things is considered "blind," because the very purpose for which eyes were created is not being fulfilled.</text>

<text>2 We may think that we can't become united with God because of our wrongdoings. This verse tells us that God takes us out of Egypt. He helps separate us from the evil within us so that we can reach higher levels in our service of God.</text>
