"english": "מִזְמוֹר What follows is a musical prayer which the Levites are to chant in the Holy Temple on the day of Shabbat. How fitting to praise You, Lord, and to chant to Your name, most high God. How fitting to declare Your kindness in the morning and Your faithfulness through the nights. I shall laud You with a ten-stringed instrument and with a lyre, and with singing joined to a harp. For You, Lord, have gladdened me by Your miraculous deeds. I chant with joy as I behold the mighty acts which Your hands do. Lord, how vast are the works You do! Your thoughts are exceedingly profound. A brutish man cannot know, and a foolish person cannot grasp the following: namely why the wicked shoot up and flourish like herbage, and all those who work evil flourish, merely to be destroyed afterward, forever. Lord, You stand exalted forever. Truly, Lord, Your enemies—indeed, Your enemies—shall be destroyed. All those who sin shall be scattered and destroyed. Yet the righteous may declare, You have increased my strength; You have rendered me as mighty as a wild ox. You have granted me many luxuries; I am even anointed with fresh oil. My eyes have beheld the ruin of my enemies who would watch me. My ears have heard the ruin of the wicked who have risen up against me. The righteous shall blossom and bring forth children as a palm tree yields fruits. They shall grow tall like a cedar tree in Lebanon. They shall be planted within the Holy Temple, the house of the Lord, and they shall study Torah there. They shall flourish in the Lord's courtyards within the Holy Temple. They will still be fruitful when they grow old; they shall remain energetic and fresh. Such things will show people that the Lord is just. He remains my strength and no injustice is in Him.",
