<english>שִׁירוּ At Redemption's coming we shall all chant a fresh hymn unto the Lord. All upon earth, chant unto the Lord. <text>1 The purpose of God's "judgment" is not to find fault in the world, but to encourage its improvement. This can be compared to an artist who takes pride in his work and constantly looks for ways to improve and fix it. It is due to God's love for the world that He wants to improve it and reveal Himself in it through His judgment.</text>

<text>2 The "mountains" symbolize haughty people, who will be humbled when the Redemption arrives. On a deeper level, mountains symbolize forces of evil, which arrogantly present themselves as equal alternatives to goodness. When we are faced with a spiritual challenge, God ensures that these forces "melt away like wax," thereby revealing the true feelings of our soul and empowering us to overcome our challenge.</text>

<text>3 "Hating evil" and "loving God" go hand in hand: one cannot claim to hate evil entirely if he does not express a love for God by doing good deeds. This verse teaches us that any hatred for evil must be matched by a love for God.</text>
