<english>You have favored us with the capacity to apprehend and fathom Your Torah, and You have instructed us in performing the precepts You desire us to do. Lord, our God, You have set a division between that which is holy and that which is ordinary, between darkness and light, between the other nations and the Children of Israel, and between the six work days and the seventh day of the week. Our Father, our King, usher in for us the coming days of the week in tranquility, clear of any unintentional sins, purged of any intentional sins, and dedicated to fearing You. <text>1 In addition to freeing those who cannot move physically, God frees those who cannot move spiritually—those whose feelings toward God are "imprisoned" in the realm of intellect, and are not expressed through emotion. Such people understand God's greatness on an intellectual level, but they do not get excited about it. We ask God to release those trapped feelings.</text>
