<english>offer praise to the supreme King of all kings, the Holy One, blessed be He, Who unfurls the heavens and founds the earth. The throne of His glory stands in heaven above, and the abode of His majesty is in heaven, in the loftiest spiritual heights. He is our God; none else exists. Truly, He is our King; nothing exists besides Him, as His Torah writes: Know that the Lord is God; let it stand as certain to you as though you beheld this day the revelation of God as it occurred at the Giving of the Torah. Take it unto your heart. Indeed the God in heaven above and upon the earth below.</english>

<english>And so, we hope to You, Lord, our God,1 for nothing exists besides You. We yearn to speedily behold the splendor of Your strength, which You will employ to banish idolatry from the earth. The false gods that people serve will be utterly destroyed. We yearn to bring the world to perfection under the dominion of the Almighty, so that all people will know of You and call Your name. We yearn to cause all the wicked people of the earth to repent and turn to You. All the world's peoples will perceive and know that every knee should bend to You to worship You, and the tongue of every person should swear an oath only in Your name. All the world's peoples shall bend the knee and fall and bow down before You, Lord, our God, and they shall render honor to the glory of Your name. <text>1 God's name is mentioned twice in this verse, corresponding to two different levels of Godly revelation. The first level gives us "strength" so that we may rise above the world and not be affected by it. The second, higher level gives us the ability to achieve "peace" between opposing forces: to merge holiness with the physical world, by serving God.</text>
