<english>God, You are slow to anger toward those who sin. You are named the "Master of Mercy," and You have taught us in the Torah the way of repentance. Recall this day, and each day, the greatness of Your mercy and kindness; extend mercy and kindness to the Jewish Nation, the offspring of Your precious ones, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Turn toward us and deal with us in mercy, for You are the "Master of Mercy." We approach You with our petitions and our prayers, as You instructed Moses, the most</english>

<text>1 First we ask God to help us be humble, and then we ask Him to be able to study Torah successfully. The key to successful Torah study is humility. Instead of interpreting the Torah according to our personal preferences, we must be as humble as "dust" so that we may study Torah with an open heart.</text>
