<english>God, Your realm is a kingdom embracing every world, and Your dominion of the worlds shall endure eternally, through every coming generation. The Lord upholds all who fall, and He raises those who are bowed. God, each person's eyes gaze expectantly to You for aid, and You grant them their food in due season. You open Your hand and supply ample nourishment to fulfill the longings of every living creature. The Lord is just in all His paths, and He is gracious in all He performs. The Lord is near to all who cry out to Him, and He responds to all who cry out to Him in truth and sincerity. He grants the longings and needs of those who revere Him; He hears their pleas seeking aid, and He delivers them. The Lord guards all who love Him, and He will wipe out all the wicked. My mouth shall utter the praises of the Lord, and all will do likewise and bless His holy name for all eternity. We shall bless God, now and always. <english>Blessed are You, Lord,1 our God and our fathers' God, Abraham's God,2 Isaac's God, and Jacob's God. The great, mighty, and awesome God, the God Who is lofty and governs all things, the God Who performs good deeds of kindness, Who forms all things, Who recalls the kindness and good deeds the Patriarchs wrought, and Who brings a redeemer to deliver their descendants from exile. Though we are unworthy, God will in love deliver us from exile for the sake of His name—that all may recognize that He is a good and kind God.</english>

<text>1 This name of God (י-ה-ו-ה in the original Hebrew form) has three meanings, corresponding to three aspects of Godliness: 1) "The Creator" – this refers to God's presence in the world, which creates the world and sustains it. 2) "Was, Is, and Will Be" – this refers to a level of God that is higher than the world and higher than time, where past, present, and future are one. 3) "The Unexplainable" – this refers to God's essence, which cannot be explained or described at all.</text>

<text>2 Abraham is associated with God's attribute of kindness. We thank God for "shielding" His kindness so that only a limited amount reaches the world. Without this shield, His kindness would be so abundant that it would "spill over" onto unholy creations.</text>
