"english": "Haman], lest he approach and fell me, mothers together with children. On this side and on that stood the offspring of my mighty Patriarchs and Sages; they all raised a cry, and their plea rose up to the Lord; when the voice of their prayer reached God, He asked of [the angels] who stand before Him, \"What is this bleat of sheep within my ears?\" [Moses] the shepherd answered, \"This is [the sound of] the little, holy children; O God, rescue from the wicked foe those delivered over to death.\" The Merciful One's compassion was stirred and He wished to weep over this event, and once the King of Israel had perused the letter [of the edict], He rent it asunder. Then [Mordechai] the Jew suspended them [Haman and his sons], the sons beneath and their father above, each taking three cubits [on the fifty foot gallows] with a fourth set between each; he beheld a twofold vengeance, rejoiced and offered praise: I was returned to my station and he was hanged. And Esther set down the mighty miracle, to be recited in thanksgiving like Hallel; in Heaven above was ratified what the beloved ones assumed below; may He work for us miracles, before the eyes of all, like His wondrous deeds of old to which we testify; at this hour let relief and deliverance arise for the Jews.",
