At the Flood the Lord sat [as King]; forever will the Lord sit as King. Strength will the Lord give to His people; with peace will the Lord bless His people.2 God shall bless us, and all, from the earth’s furthest corners, shall fear Him.3 Receive our supplication and hearken to our cry, You who knows secret thoughts. Lord, Yours is the power and the greatness, the victory, the majesty, and the glory; for whatever is in heaven and on earth [is Yours]. The kingship is Yours, Lord, and You are exalted, supreme over every ruler.4 Over the entire earth the Lord will be King; the Lord will be One on that day, and His Name One.5 Your Torah also records: Hear, O Israel, our God is the Lord, the Lord is One.6 Forever and ever, blessed be the name of the glory of His kingdom.7</english>

<english>שישו On Simchat Torah rejoice and exult, and pay homage to the Torah; for its goods surpass all other goods, more precious than gems and fine gold. May we rejoice and delight in this Torah, which is our life, our strength and our light. I extol my God and exult in Him; in Him I place my hope. Among the assembly of His people, those near to Him, I praise Him; my God, my Stronghold in whom I take refuge. Come, let us take delight and rejoice in this Torah, since it is our life, our strength and our light. I sing of Your might with all my heart, and recount Your praises. Bring us back in joy to Your House, by reason of Your kindness and Your truth. With this Torah let us delight and rejoice, since it is our life, our strength and our light.</english>
