"english": "הודו Offer thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His kindness endures forever. So let those redeemed by the Lord declare, those whom He redeemed from the oppressor's hand. He assembled them out of the lands—from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea. They wandered in the wilderness, in the desert waste; no inhabited city did they find. Hungry and thirsty both, their soul fainted within them. They called to the Lord in their trouble; He rescued them from their afflictions. He led them on a straight path to come to an inhabited city. Let them thank the Lord for His kindness and [proclaim] His marvels to the children of man. For He has satisfied a thirsty soul, and a hungry soul He has filled with goodness. Those dwelling in darkness and the shadow of death, fettered in misery and chains of iron, because they defied the words of God and scorned the counsel of the Most High—He brought down their heart through suffering; they stumbled, and no one was there to help. They called to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them from their woes. He led them out from darkness and the shadow of death, and broke apart their bonds. Let them thank the Lord for His kindness, and [proclaim] His marvels to the children of man. For He shattered the brass gates and smashed the iron bars. Foolish sinners are stricken on account of their sinful ways and their wrongdoings. Their soul abhors all food, and they draw near the gates of death. They called to the Lord in their trouble; He rescued them from their afflictions. He sent out His command and healed them; He rescued them from their graves. Let them offer thanks to the Lord for His kindness, and [proclaim] His wonders to the children of man. Let them present sacrifices of thanksgiving, and with joy recount His deeds. They that go down to the sea in ships, who do their labor in mighty waters, they beheld the Lord's works and His wonders in the deep. He spoke and raised the stormy wind, and it heaved up the waves. They mount to the sky, plunge to the depths;",
