<english>of the night, nor the dart that flies by day; the plague that prowls in the darkness, nor the ruin that ravages at noon. A thousand may drop at your [left] side, and ten thousand at your right, yet it shall not reach you. You need but look with your eyes, and you shall see the retribution of the wicked. Since you [have said,] “The Lord is my shelter,” and have made the Most High your haven, no evil shall befall you, no plague shall come near your tent. For He will charge His angels in your behalf, to keep you in all your ways. They will bear you in their hands, lest you strike your foot on a rock. You shall tread upon the lion and the viper; you shall trample upon the young lion and the serpent. Because he desires Me, I will rescue him; I will fortify him, for he knows My Name. When he calls upon Me, I shall answer him; I am with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. I shall satisfy him with long life, and show him My deliverance.1 I shall satisfy him with long life, and show him My deliverance.</english>
