<text>This Amida is recited on Yom Tov and on Hol HaMo’ed (Shabbat Hol HaMo’ed included). On Pesah’s first day, the Leader opens the Repetition using the “Prayer for Dew” on page 892; on Shemini Atzeret, using the “Prayer for Rain” on page 898. Within Israel, such prayers are recited ahead of the Amida’s silent recitation.</text>

          <type>Instructions</type>
<text>Until “in former years” on page 880, the prayer that follows is recited in silence, standing with feet joined. Should a minyan be present, the Leader repeats the Amida aloud. Advance three steps and at the marks shown by ▼, at the first word bend the knees, at the second bow, and before uttering God’s name stand upright.</text>
