<english>Halleluya! Happy is he who holds the LORD in awe; whose whole might desires His commandments. In the land his offspring will be heroes, a generation of noble people that is blessed. Riches and wealth shall be in his house, and forever his righteousness will stand firm. For the noble-hearted a light shines in darkness; for one compassionate, loving and righteous. It is good when a person displays compassion and lends to the needy, ordering with justice all that he does. For never shall such a man be shaken – forever a righteous person is remembered. When bad news comes he need never be afraid; a steady heart may belong to one who trusts in the LORD. His heart will stay steadfast and will not fear, until he looks upon his tormentors overcome. He gives generously to the destitute – and forever his righteousness will stand firm; in honor his horn will be raised. Seeing it, the wicked man will gnash his teeth in fury and be gone. Every craving of such a one comes to nothing.</english>

<english>A psalm of David. The LORD’s is the earth and whatever it contains, the world and all who dwell in it. For He founded it upon the seas and set it firm upon the streams. Who may climb the LORD’s mountain? Who may take his stand in His holy place? One whose hands are clean and whose heart is pure, who has not invoked My name in vain, nor sworn with deceit. Blessing he shall receive from the LORD, and rightful reward from God, his salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek Him, Jacob’s descendants who seek Your presence, Selah! Raise your heads, O gates; be lifted up, eternal doors, for the King of glory to enter. Who is the King of glory? The LORD, powerful and mighty, the LORD valiant in battle. Raise your heads, O gates; raise them, eternal doors, for the King of glory to enter. Who is He, this King of glory? The LORD of hosts – the King of glory is He, Selah!</english>
