<english>Whoever abides in the Most High’s shelter dwells in the Almighty’s shadow. Of the LORD I say, my Refuge and Stronghold, my God in whom I trust, that from the fowler’s snare and the deadly pestilence He will save you. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find shelter; an encircling shield is His faithfulness. Terror by night you need not fear, nor the arrow flying by day; neither pestilence stalking in darkness, nor plague ravaging at noon. At your side a thousand may fall, at your right hand ten thousand, yet it shall not draw near you. Only with your eyes will you look and behold the punishment of the wicked. Since you declared “The LORD is my Refuge,” making the Most High your shelter, harm will not befall you, nor will plague approach your tent, for His angels He will charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. In their hands they will bear you up, lest your foot stumble on a stone. Upon lions and vipers you will tread; young lions and snakes you will trample. [God says] “Because he loves Me, I will rescue him; because he acknowledges My name, I will protect him. When he calls on Me, I will answer him; in distress I will be with him; I will deliver him and grant him honor. ▸ With length of days I will satisfy him, and let him see My salvation. With length of days I will satisfy him, and let him see My salvation.”</english>

<english>A Psalm. To the LORD sing a new song, for wondrous things He has done; by His right hand and His holy arm He has saved. His salvation the LORD has made known; in the sight of the nations He has displayed His righteousness. His loving-kindness and faithfulness toward the house of Israel He remembered; the victory of our LORD all the ends of the earth have seen. All the earth, shout for joy to the LORD; burst into song, sing joyfully, make music. On the harp make music to the LORD – on the harp with singing’s sound. With trumpets and the shofar’s blast, shout for joy before the LORD, the King. ▸ Let the sea thunder, and all that fills it, the world and all who dwell in it. Let the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains sing for joy together – before the LORD, for He comes to judge the earth. With justice He will judge the world, and the peoples with equity.</english>
