His righteousness the heavens declare, and His glory all the peoples behold. Shame falls on all who worship images and boast in idols. All you heavenly powers, bow down to Him. Zion hears and is glad, and Judah's towns rejoice because of your judgments, LORD. For You, LORD, stand supreme over all the earth; far above all heavenly powers You are exalted. ▸ Those who love the LORD, let them hate evil, for He shields the lives of his devoted ones, delivering them from the grasp of the wicked. For the righteous, light is sown, and for the upright in heart, joy. You who are righteous, rejoice in the LORD, and offer thanks to His holy name.</english>

<english>A Psalm. To the LORD lift a song that is new, for He has worked wonders; He has brought salvation by His holy arm and His right hand. The LORD has revealed His saving work; His righteousness He has set forth in the nations' sight. He recalled His loving-kindness and faithfulness toward the house of Israel; the victory of our LORD all the earth's ends have seen. To the LORD shout joyfully, all the earth; break into song, sing gladly, make music. Make music to the LORD upon the harp - upon the harp with the voice of song. With trumpets and the shofar's sound, shout joyfully before the LORD, the King. ▸ Let the sea and all it holds thunder, the world and all who dwell in it. Let the rivers clap their palms, the mountains together raise a song of joy - before the LORD, for He comes to judge the earth. With justice He will judge the world, and the peoples with equity.</english>

The King who is also Judge and Deliverer is about to come. The trumpets sound a clarion to announce His entrance. A roar is heard, not just from the assembled people but from the universe itself: the sea, the earth, rivers and mountains.
