Today and every day may You recall how great is Your compassion and kindness, for the sake of Your beloved ones' descendants. In compassion turn toward us, for You are the Master of Compassion. In plea and prayer we come before You, as in ancient times You showed the humble one [Moses]. Turn from Your fierce anger, as is written in Your Torah. May we shelter and abide in the shadow of Your wings, as on that day when the LORD came down in the cloud. ▸ Overlook sin and wipe away guilt, as on that day when “He stood beside him there.” Hearken to our pleading and attend to our speech, as on that day when “he called upon the name of the LORD,” and in that place is said –</english>
